Skate & Core Control - Saturday 9:00 am
4 lessons course / Catwalk - Tempelhofer Feld
Skating efficiently requires more than just leg power; it demands a strong core, deep balance, and flexibility. This specialized session is a hybrid workout that blends the principles of calisthenics, yoga, and Pilates, all performed while wearing inline skates. Instead of traditional skating drills, this class focuses entirely on physical conditioning. By performing targeted bodyweight exercises, stability holds, and mobility drills on wheels, you force your core to engage constantly to maintain balance. We incorporate floor exercises and static positions designed to improve your muscular endurance, joint mobility, and overall skating mechanics. The objective is to build a stronger, more resilient body that translates directly to better control, efficiency, and power when you are out skating. What we cover in this class: Core strengthening routines adapted for skates. Stability holds and deep balance challenges. Mobility and flexibility drills to improve your stride range. Bodyweight exercises to build muscular endurance.
